Given that The Division 2 is set for release next month, it can be expected that the supposed beta will take place one weekend in the very near future. The free beta weekend will run until March 4th, hopefully giving the developers a few days to put out any last fires before it launches on March 15th. The private beta was limited to pre-order customers and those who had previously signed up for the chance to check the game out early.
Based on the remark made by the developer during the live stream session, the game experience will also likely to be more stable as compared to the closed beta since they clearly intend to implement new fixes for the upcoming open beta. In the end though, maybe The Division 2 will be the one out of those three that hooks me in the most. In the meantime, be sure to let us know how you get on with the open beta down in the comments. This happened with Anthem and it will also happen with The Division 2.
Beginning on March 1st, everyone interested in The Division 2 will be able to try out the open beta when it releases on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
