Georgia is 10-13 on the season and has struggled in Crean's inaugural season.
According to 247Sports, five-star shooting guard Anthony Edwards from Holy Spirit Preparatory School will make his final announcement tomorrow morning.
Though he is joining the 39th ranked recruiting class for next year with two four-star talents in Carver High School's Combo Guard Jaykwon Walton and Chaminade-Madonna Prep's Small Forward Toumani Camara, the nation's best prospect is optimistic about Georgia's chances next year.
A few of the notable programs that weren't included in the finalists for Edwards were the Florida Gators, Kansas Jayhawks, Michigan State Spartans, Memphis Tigers, Texas A&M Aggies, Virginia Cavaliers, and UNC Tar Heels. Per 247 Sports, the five-star guard, along with Jaykwon Walton and Toumani Camara gives Georgia an average of 0.9764 overall in recruiting, up from 0.9121 previous year.
