West was also slated to perform three songs with an orchestra. He claims Kanye was aware of the pending contract, but when it became clear Ye wasn't going to perform ... he let Plein know the deal was off. Malik claims he didn't touch a dime of Plein's money and even sent it back to him. The hip-hop entertainer has shut down buzz about maliciously forging Kanye West's name to secure almost $1 million in a deal with designer Philipp Plein.

The unidentified person at the center of all this is reportedly a former friend of Kanye and past associate of G.O.O.D.

Kanye West started Donda's House after his mother, Donda West passed away in 2007. The Blast reports Plein agreed to donate $500,000 to the foundation. On the other hand, sources close to Kanye are reporting that Malik is lying through his teeth, as is Philip Plein - their belief is that no agreement whatsoever was ever put in place, at least on his accord. TMZ noted the designer fell for the bit, which led them to sign a contract where the man reportedly forged West's signature. "We hope to collaborate with Kanye West in the future and we look forward to our 20th Anniversary show this Monday evening", Plein's team told The Blast.

"We were beyond excited to work with [Kanye West] but unfortunately an individual pretended to be part of his management team and acted without Kanye's knowledge, capitalising on a former friendship with him". Unfortunately we too were affected by this misrepresentation.
