LeBron James called out the timing of the trade, suggesting teams trading players were treated differently from players requesting trades.

The NBA's trade deadline is set for Thursday at 3 p.m. E.T. I'm not knocking who traded him because it's a business and you have to do what you feel what's best. I'm OK with both honestly.

The forward was seen on the floor for a few moments after the game ended, chatting with a few Hornets players before walking through a throng of fans he wanted to say goodbye to the seventh-year player.

But Walker, who scored 22 in the first half, went scoreless in the third quarter before scoring eight of Charlotte's first 10 points in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 81 with 8:05 to go.

The decision surprised Mavericks veteran Dirk Nowitzki.

"The Kings are trading Justin Jackson and Zach Randolph to the Mavericks for Harrison Barnes, league sources tell ESPN", he reported.

"He's a better man than me, for sure", he was quoted as saying by The Associated Press. "Everybody else would have bounced out".

The 19-year-old Slovenian finished with a team-high 19 points on 5-of-20 shooting - just 2-of-10 from beyond the arc - and added 11 assists and 10 rebounds. He's just a generally good dude. He thanked the Mavs on social media after the game.

Hornets: G Tony Parker was out with a back strain in what would have been his first appearance in Dallas since leaving San Antonio after 17 seasons with the rival Spurs.

Along with that, if Dallas wants any ounce of flexibility for free agency this summer, it will have to come with a Barnes and/or Dwight Powell move to clear up over $35 million in cap space.
