Danny Ainge doesn’t seem concerned about Marcus Morris shoving Jaylen Brown

The Celtics are now on the verge of finishing off their three-game road trip with three consecutive losses as they head to Brooklyn to take on the Nets Monday night. "That's all we can ask for". The Celtics went on an impressive run to cut an 18-point halftime deficit to 10 heading into the fourth quarter, but Miami's hot shooting from three proved to be too much to overcome. Emotions happen in games, and I'm not anxious about it. It appears Morris shoved Brown with his right arm before the two were separated by teammate Marcus Smart.

"Obviously we struggled out of the gate, more offensively than I thought (would happen)", said Stevens.

"We could pinpoint a lot of turning points", Irving said, via ESPN.com, following Wednesday's 135-108 win over the Pacers.

Hayward is feeling better as he returns from a gruesome injury while Brown had trouble getting used to being in a lineup with Hayward and Kyrie Irving. "We've got a lot of pieces out there". It doesn't matter who you're going against, it matters the type of preparation you have - what you're going out and trying to accomplish.

"You have got guys like Kawhi Leonard, guys like "Greek Freak" standing in their way".

That is what the Celtics as a team are hoping happens in the second half of the season. They were one game away.

And Pierce, a ten-time NBA All-Star, reckons Irving will put pen to paper on a new deal. "We just want to build that chemistry first". "I like Marcus' and Jaylen's character and personalities and feistiness, and, like, I just think nothing of something like this".

It is unknown whether Morris will face discipline from the team for the shove, but players are scheduled to meet with reporters on Saturday before their game in Orlando.
