Sevilla have signed Barcelona forward Munir El Haddadi for a fee of €1.05m (£937,000).

Goal previously reported the 23-year-old Munir, who was in the last six months of his deal with the La Liga champions, was intent on joining Sevilla this summer when his deal expired after rejecting contract offers from Barcelona.

Coach Ernesto Valverde admitted earlier this week that "it would be for the best" if Barca were able to cash in on him this month. He has won one worldwide cap for Spain, in September 2014.

There was also interest from Italy and England, including Premier League side Wolves, sources confirmed.

German champions Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in signing out-of-favour Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata on loan until the end of the season.

Munir made 56 appearances for Barcelona, scoring 12 goals for the club.

The La Liga leaders have been combing the market for a long-term backup to Suarez for a several months now, with Krzysztof Piatek, Nicolas Pepe and Luka Jovic all checked out.

Alvaro Morata's time at Chelsea has been rather torrid and the misfiring striker is likely to be leaving the Blues in the January transfer window, as Maurizio Sarri looks to offload the attacker in order to bring in a new face at Stamford Bridge.

However, as of now, Barcelona are only interested in signing Morata to a loan deal according to reports, the final cost of which could rise as high as 10 million euros.
