Chelsea striker, Michy Batshuayi is set to return to Stamford Bridge this month after Valencia made a decision to cut his loan short.

Batshuayi signed for Chelsea from Marseille for £33million back in 2016 but failed to nail down a consistent spot in the first team.

Mateu Alemany, the general director at Los Che, has confirmed the striker's imminent departure after Marcelino had lost patience with the 25-year-old loanee.

'The club knows very well my opinion, ' Sarri said earlier this month.

Batshuayi thrived on loan at Borussia Dortmund during the second half of last season, scoring seven goals in nine Bundesliga appearances before his time at the club was ended by an ankle injury. "We are negotiating the player's exit with various other clubs", Alemany said, according to Sky Sports.

"I expect he will leave in the coming hours or days".

"He is leaving and it's now a matter of negotiation".

"It is clear that patience, in some case, has already run out".

The Blues hitman has just had his loan spell at Valencia cut short after a poor stint in Spain.

The Belgium global joined the Mestalla outfit on a season-long loan during the summer after he was deemed surplus to requirements at Chelsea.

"The effort and intention I see and I try to be fair".

The Belgian global had a fairly unsuccessful spell with the La Liga side, scoring just three goals from 23 appearances in all competitions.
