The Indiana Hoosiers are going to have to have their best game of the year if they hope to compete with MI, let alone take down the Wolverines in their own home.

It didn't help the Hoosiers that both Romeo Langford and Juwan Morgan each picked up two fouls in the game's opening minutes and had to go to the bench for significant stretches.

Instead, the Wolverines played like a top-five team and never trailed once to IN, the No. 21 team IN the country IN a 74-63 win.

"We're not ready to be tough at the beginning of the game", Miller said after the game.

That means that the Wolverines are winning their games by an average of points per game.

"We're just anxious about getting better", Poole said.

Jaelynn Penn scored 17 points including a go-ahead 3-pointer in the final minute to give in a 68-64 victory over No. 15 Michigan State on Sunday.

"We're just anxious about getting better", Poole said via The AP.

"I don't think we've been as consistent as we need to be to get where we want to go", Morgan said.

The Hoosiers were missing freshmen Rob Phinisee, Jake Forrester, Race Thompson and Jerome Hunter for Sunday's game, along with junior forward De'Ron Davis, who informed Miller after warm-ups he could not play due to an ankle injury. The Hoosiers return to action on Friday night at Maryland.

"Just going in there, it will be a dogfight for sure", Morgan said. Johns may have earned more playing time. Johns made the most of the opportunity with season highs in points, rebounds and minutes (13) and hurt the Hoosiers' comeback hopes.

The 6-foot Simpson made some running hook shots, scoring in a way undersized guards have to near the lane, according to Beilein.

The dominance of Michigan's defense through the first 11 games of the year was nothing short of unbelievable. Morgan, one of the most accurate shooters in the Big Ten at 67.6 percent from the field, but is shooting 4 of 12 at halftime.
