CaptainMarvel's arrival was long awaited since it was first teased in the post-credits scene of Avengers: Infinity War as Nick Fury was seen contacting her before "the snap".
Then they dropped an "exclusive look" in the middle of the College Football National Championship game. The TV spot announces that tickets are officially on sale for Captain Marvel. Thankfully it sounds as though this isn't going to be the case with the highly anticipated Avengers: Endgame - if some recent comments from Marvel head honcho, Kevin Feige are anything to go by. Aside from the three MCUfilms arriving in 2019, the next phase of the blockbuster franchise remains a mystery.
But even with all the intergalactic warfare, the new footage also makes sure to include a few jokes, with Nick and Carol making some wisecracks at each other's expense. Reprising their roles from Marvel'sGuardians of the Galaxy are Djimon Hounsou and Lee Pace, and returning once again to a Marvel Studios film will be Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson.
In the new clip released by Marvel Entertainment, the audience is told what a Skrull is and we also get to know about their shapeshifting abilities.
The film is all set to release on April 26 and will mark the end of Marvel's first phase of movies.
Captain Marvel is the first solo female superhero lead in the MCU and stars Academy Award-winning actress Brie Larson, The film will be co-director by Anna Boden who is the first woman to helm an MCU movie.
Brie Larson is joined in the film by Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, with Annette Bening, and Jude Law.
