Kendall Jenner Announces Proactiv Endorsement Deal After Promising To Share Big Secret Kendall Jenner is Proactiv's Latest Spokesperson

Her momager Kris Jenner had promised Kendall Jenner would share a "raw story" to her Twitter account on Sunday night in order help her young followers.

And technically, the answer was lurking in Kris Jenner's tweets all along - another hashtag she included was #finallyasolution, which now reads like a veiled reference to the Proactiv Solution 3-Step System.

So it came as a shock to many when Kendall surfaced during E!'s red carpet coverage of the "Golden Globes" Sunday night - in a commercial for Proactiv, the acne treatment brand that has had a long line of celebrity endorsers, including Justin Bieber, Jessica Simpson, Katy Perry and Alicia Keys.

"When I was 14 I couldn't reach as many people as I can now", she says in the video shared by her mother.

Instead of listening to the haters, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star chose to stay positive and spread encouraging words to her fans.

One person wrote: "everyone really thought kendall jenner's big announcement was her coming out speech when it was actually about her acne".

"I loved my dress and my hair and my makeup was so lovely", Kendall said.

Following the reveal, Proactiv welcomed Jenner to the family in a sweet tweet. "I thought she'd announce she's gay:/".

As of this writing, Kendall has not responded to any backlash from her latest endorsement deal.

This appears to be the same energy Jenner is bringing into 2019 because now she says she's ready to speak out and help other people who struggle with clear skin.

Fans were surprised by the announcement because it was supposed to be her most "raw" and "personal" story yet.

People were. disappointed. "How courageous of Kendall to be paid millions to promote a skin care brand", one Twitter user wrote. It really worked for me.
