Recently we have also seen a few specifications of the Pixel 3 Lite smartphone were leaked.

As Android Police points out, Google has focused all of its efforts on premium Android devices in recent years, which will make these the first mid-range phones from the company released in the United States since the $379 Nexus 5X in 2015.

Why launch mid-range Pixel phones in the USA at all?

Given that these will be lower-priced entries into the Pixel family, you won't find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor that now powers the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.

Remember that plasticky Pixel 3 Lite that leaked not too long ago? But now some details regarding the launch of these phones are coming out. The Pixel 3 Lite is expected feature a 2915mAh battery, and while the capacity of the battery inside the 3 Lite XL is unknown, with the larger screen we would expect a larger capacity power source. This launch timeline is for the U.S but considering Google usually launches its Pixel phones in India at the same time as the Global rollout we expect the Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 XL Lite to come to India around April or May next year.

Recent reports have revealed that Google is working on budget-friendly versions of Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones.

The launch information of the Pixel 3 Lite and the Pixel 3 XL Lite comes from sources close Android Police. Rumours talk about Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 or 710 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage, 3.5mm headphone jack, 12MP rear and 8MP front cameras and a 5.5-inch display.
