Samsung posted on its Weibo account, revealing a teaser poster that confirms the Galaxy A8s will not only be arriving with an Infinity-O display, but also be arriving faster than Huawei's first Infinity-O display smartphone.

On the other hand, Huawei Nova 4 will be launched on December 17 that will carry a very similar design. Now, with Huawei having announced the Nova 4 launch for December 17th, Samsung has pipped the Chinese company by declaring their launch nearly a week earlier. With the new Infinity Display-O, the top bezel is completely gone.

Chinese smartphone maker Huawei is all set to launch a new smartphone in its home country. The Galaxy A8s will support dual-band Wi-Fi, reveals the document which was even suggested by the FCC listing, so there's nothing much new to state here.

Recently we reported about some leaked specifications and teasers about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A8s smartphone. This would appear to be an expansion of in-display fingerprint technology that's expected to show up in next year's Galaxy S10 models, which would be its first phone with such a sensor. Huawei Nova 4's unique feature is that it has a display hole for the selfie camera. The company has released the poster of the smartphone mentioning the launch date as well as background of the Galaxy and captioning it as "Real Galaxy".

As you can see in the images and video above Samsung retain the 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port along with what may be a Bixby button on the left (yes it will just not go away).

"We're proud to work alongside innovative partners like Verizon and Qualcomm Technologies to deliver a smartphone that will fundamentally transform how people work and play", said Justin Denison, Senior Vice President, Mobile Product Strategy and Marketing at Samsung Electronics America.

Coming to the camera department, the Samsung Galaxy A8s is expected to feature a triple camera setup at the back consisting a 24-megapixel primary camera, a 10-megapixel camera and a 5-megapixel camera.
