The Bush family joined President Trump and all former living former presidents, as well as world leaders and other distinguished guests, at the Washington National Cathedral.

"The crew aboard the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) honored President George H.W. Bush's vision of volunteers as points of light in their community by holding a flashlight vigil", said a post on the ship's Facebook page.

She saw that he was handing one to former first lady Laura Bush and asked for one as well.

Earlier on Monday, King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia offered their condolences to the American President Donald Trump on Monday following the death of President George H.W. Bush.

"Through our tears, let us know the blessings of knowing and loving you, a great and noble man".

He became emotional while describing "the best father a son or daughter could have". "And in our grief, let us smile knowing that dad is hugging Robin and holding Mom's hand again". Bush died Friday at age 94. The casket was then flown to Houston to lie in repose before burial at his presidential library next to his daughter Robin and his wife Barbara.
