Android 8.1 Oreo is on board, but unfortunately, a 3.5mm headphone jack isn't.

In fact, the W2019 is a flagship-class device that is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor alongside 6GB of RAM. The new one comes with better hardware inside, improved software, dual rear cameras, side mounted fingerprint sensor to let users easily unlock the phone and more. The South Korean major is yet to confirm the price of the smartphone, but we do know that it will be exclusive to China Unicom.

Like its predecessor, the Samsung W2019 will be available only in Asia and will be available in China through China Unicorn.

Samsung has launched the W2019 flip phone in just two variants. The sale date is yet to be announced by the company. It will be available in Silver and Gold colour options. A much smaller 2,300mAh battery powered the phone.

Samsung W2019 has two 4.2-inch Super AMOLED displays, both having a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Unlike the W2018, the W2019 features a dual camera system on the back. Flip open the device and you will be greeted with another 4.2-inch Super AMOLED display along with a directional pad, and a numeric keypad. It measures 132.90 x 63.40 x 17.30 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 275.00 grams. For selfies, the device boasts of 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The device features a dual rear camera setup, including a 12MP camera with f/1.5 to f/2.4 dual aperture and a 12MP telephoto lens for 2x optical zoom. The fingerprint scanner on the device is on the side panel, and the phone is made out of anodized, diamond-cut aluminum and glass. A 4.2-in, Full HD screen adorns the front, which is also dwarfed by that of most other current phones.
