The price of one ticket goes up to Rs. 1,800 which isn't even the cost of popcorn and pepsi included with the film. Taran Adarsh tweeted, 'All that glitters is NOT gold. But will find it hard to sustain after the initial euphoria settles down. He termed the movie as a formula-ridden plot, and a screenplay of convenience, with shoddy direction being the main culprits. #TOH is a golden opportunity lost, a KING-SIZED DISAPPOINTMENT!' He however mentioned in a further tweet that Thugs of Hindostan may benefit from the holiday season, the hype it has managed to create and impressive star cast, but will find it hard to sustain its journey on the box office after the initial euphoria settles down.
Nonetheless, Thugs Of Hindostan has collected huge at the box office on its first day, thus setting a momentum for the movie.
