After Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Liverpool FC on Saturday night, Lineker wrote on Twitter: "Have to say, @Arsenal's progress under Emery is significant".

When Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp was asked to pick his team of the week, he was quick to mention Arsenal attacker Alexandre Lacazette in his line-up after the player scored the goal that helped the North London team snatch a point from their visitors.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery was hugely impressed with Granit Xhaka's commitment against Liverpool in the 1-1 draw at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday. You'd think Liverpool had lost the league after the game at the weekend because "oh it's two points dropped, Man City are gone two points clear", there's a long way to go.

Klopp explained: 'When you have a compact formation you give the opposition the opportunity to pass into a certain place and then you press. We can not drop points, we need to work hard, keep improving and let's see on that day if we have the chance to do it.

The result means Liverpool are now third in the Premier League table, two points behind reigning champions Manchester City at the top. That's good. That's how it is in a dressing room, there are a lot of men, a lot of testosterone. "Milly is a proper leader".

"Millie is like wine, I like this idea as well".

Milner turns 33 in January and Klopp believes the veteran midfielder is getting better with age.

"Milly is like wine, a very good red one".

"I think he should buy all of the newspapers and read this".

The game also extended this quirky, yet quite remarkable, record of James Milner. "Obviously someone might write that he [should] play for England again".
