The tour, featuring special guest Jess Glynne, will begin June 1, 2019 in Manchester at the Etihad Stadium and will run through Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh, and Bristol before capping off the tour at Wembley Stadium in London.

Legendary pop act The Spice Girls are set to spice up the Stadium of Light on a major comeback tour.

Theakston read out details published in The Sun newspaper, which claimed that the group - Bunton, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Horner - will share a secretly-filmed video to launch their return tour.

The girl group - sans Victoria Beckham - are officially reuniting for a massive summer stadium tour.

The Spice Girls announced their tour on social media, after months of speculation, and basically made our day.

Asked if they'll go outside of the United Kingdom, she said: "We are".

While Vic doesn't feature in any of the promo and won't be joining her fellow bandmates, she will reportedly still make "millions" from the tour.

The last time all five of them performed together was at the 2012 London Olympics.

The fashion designer has chosen to focus on her business and not partake in the highly-anticipated tour. I hope so. I think it would be a shame if she didn't.

Speaking on UK TV show "Loose Women", she said: "It's just the four of us, but she might join us at some point".

In the official press release, Halliwell added, "I am so excited, together we celebrate girl power with our fans and the next generation and everyone is welcome!"

Rumours of a Spice Girls reunion have rumbled in recent days, ahead of a scheduled appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show this Saturday.
