Although it would have been nice to have wireless charging on the OnePlus 6T, the lack of it on the phone certainly isn't enough to not consider buying it. Thanks to the huge battery and excellent wired charging speeds, the missing wireless capabilities will soon become an afterthought. As usual, the smartphone will be available via Amazon India and, the company's official site.

Finally, users who buy the OnePlus 6T through T-Mobile will not be eligible for the beta program, in case that is something you are interested in participating in.

You got that right it is.

It's also the first time a OnePlus device will be compatible with the Verizon network, although they will not be directly selling the phone through their stores. That screen also has a built in fingerprint reader, the first of it's type for sale on the American market.

The goal here isn't to dissuade you from considering the OnePlus 6T for your next smartphone. That's because if you specifically want a smartphone with a smaller display, the OnePlus 6T with its 6.4-inch display wouldn't be an option. OnePlus has posted some of those details on their blog so you'll know what to expect from the carrier model of the device.

It is equipped with top-of-the-line specs including Qualcomm's flagship processor, Snapdragon 845 SoC which, combined with OnePlus' clean swift interfaces makes it one of the fastest smartphones available. OnePlus has also done away with the 3.5mm audio socket, which in turn made space for a bigger battery.

The OnePlus 6T will be sold at Rs 37,999 for 6GB+128GB, Rs 41,999 for 8GB+128GB and Rs 45,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant.

T-Mobile is offering to slash the price of the OnePlus 6T in half when trading in a qualifying phone, with the discount being applied over 24 monthly bill credits (essentially locking you into a two-year commitment). The video shows several OnePlus prototypes with different finishes sporting dual tone glossy back designs, something similar to what we have seen with the Huawei P20 Pro.

These features are all included in the out-of-box update available to the unlocked Global version of the OnePlus 6T.
