If you're wondering how the gameplay on a touchscreen will be, don't worry.

This new chapter of the blockbuster Diablo saga takes place between the end of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction® and the beginning of Diablo IIILeading the invasion of Sanctuary is the demon known as Skarn, Herald of Terror-Diablo's most powerful lieutenant-who now rallies a new demonic army.

Diablo Immortal will be available on Android and iOS and for those that want to try out the game before its release, Blizzard is accepting applications for future beta tests.

If you're a fan of Blizzard Entertainment games, this is your E3. If you meet a friend in that overworld, you'll be able to invite them to an instanced dungeon for a more traditional Diablo experience. Diablo Immortal will pit players against Diablo's older brother Bael as they journey across various locales, including the classic Frozen Tundra and the new jungle island Bilefen. It features six classes as well as new abilities, enemies, and zones entirely new to the Diablo series.

Players will be able to choose from six classes (Barbarian, Monk, Wizard, Crusader, Demon Hunter, and Necromancer), and each class will have a set of at least 12 skills. The gameplay video shows that it holds up well but it's hard to tell for certain just how well it'll perform with people all over the world playing together at once.
