Ariana Grande Did Not Like Pete Davidson’s Marriage Joke At All

Stacy Diaz | 02 November, 2018, 23:40

"Hey Maggie, I'm Pete", Davidson said in the promo.

The comedian seemingly made a reference to their short-lived engagement in the footage, which shows him joking about proposing to musical guest Maggie Rogers right after meeting her.

Davidson most recently poked fun at his failed engagement in a promo for Saturday Night Live that was released on Thursday. "You wanna get married?" a blue-haired Davidson asks the singer. The two began dating in May, got engaged in June and called it off earlier this month.

You would think that with Ariana taking her social media break as well as staying far away from commenting on anything Pete related that the tweet would have just been left alone, especially considering the fan hadn't even mentioned Ariana in the post.

"For somebody who claims to hate relevancy u (sic) sure love clinging to it huh", Grande wrote before following up with, "thank u (sic), next". Both Grande and Davidson met on SNL, and they were often criticized for their fast engagement, which lasted five months. A source close to Pete told HL EXCLUSIVELY that he wants to make jokes about his split!

So, was Grande shading Davidson?

She's since deleted the tweet.

Then Grande proceeded to drag him to hell.
