Frenchman Arsene Wenger says he will be back in management at the start of 2019, but he does not know where yet.

Doucoure has been excellent in the Premier League this season after a good campaign with Watford a year ago and has caught the eye of a number of clubs.

Wenger has been touted as a possible target for Madrid, who are seeking a new head coach following the sacking of Julen Lopetegui earlier this week. I said many times maybe the best way is not to be in England because I spent so much time at the same club it would seem odd to go somewhere else. I'll be somewhere - but I don't know where.

"When I can watch I am an Arsenal supporter and I am happy when Arsenal win and unhappy when they don't win", he told the BBC.

"I miss the game and the intensity and the beauty of our game".

The 24-year-old midfielder has been in impressive form for Watford this season, registering four assists in the Premier League from the middle of the park.

However, the League One outfit were reduced to 10-men themselves after O'Connor was shown a straight red card for a reckless foul on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the 84th minute and Arsenal held on to secure the 2-1 win.

"When you look at last season at home we won 15, drew two and lost two - it's away we were not good enough. They have a chance - but at the moment we have some other teams who look very strong as well".
