Is the OnePlus 6T turning out to be the Chinese tech giant's most interesting smartphone yet? The smartphone maker has already confirmed that OnePlus 6T will be released sans the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack.

OnePlus will be launching OnePlus 6T smartphone on October 29 at an event in New York City on October 29th, and the phone will launch in India on October 30. The report also indicates that the flagship model will come with a new Purple shade, however, there is no official confirmation to it yet. Also, the 6T will be the second smartphone to launch with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 after the Oppo R17. The OnePlus 6T is the successor to the OnePlus 6 launched in May of this year. The new leak also goes in line with the same.

In addition to the spec sheet, a number of promotional images of the handset have also been leaked, showcasing its in-display fingerprint sensor, thinner bezels and "waterdrop" notch, and more.

OnePlus 6T: What to expect?

In India, OnePlus 6T is coming in three variants-6GB RAM + 128GB Storage, 8GB RAM+ 128GB storage and 8GB RAM+256GB storages. There will be 128GB and 256GB storage configurations available, too.

- There is Snapdragon 845 inside OnePlus 6T and this has been confirmed by OnePlus. The entry-level OnePlus 6T still keeps the same 6GB RAM, though.

As per the leaks, the OnePlus 6T display sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ (1080×2340 pixels) Optic AMOLED panel with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a new waterdrop notch. Without explicitly mentioning the OnePlus 7 by name, Pei said that to his knowledge OnePlus will be one of the first, if not the first company to launch a 5G phone.

The confidence to hold OnePlus 6T in hand comes when the fear of drop doesn't ever run in your mind. Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed on the device, while a 3,700mAh battery will be a part of the package as well, and it will not be removable. 16-megapixel (f/1.7 aperture) and 20-megapixel (f/1.7 aperture) cameras will sit on the back of the phone, while a single 20-megapixel camera (f/1.7 aperture) will be included on the device's front side.

What we don't find out from the leaked sheet is the price.
