The country is one of the world's most expensive places to buy Apple devices, with increased tariffs pushing the price of an iPhone X to $1,700 earlier this year. The company is expected to launch three new smartphones building on last year's iPhone X launch with Face ID scanning technology.
The Apple Watch Series 4 goes live to preorder on Friday, and it will begin shipping on September 21, starting at $399 for the GPS edition and $499 for GPS + LTE versions.
The leaked image suggests the handsets will have a new gold colour scheme, which will join the grey and white designs available on the current iPhone line-up, says The Daily Telegraph. "They're launching a bunch of new phones here at the Steve Jobs theater later today".
The iPhone XS comes with a price tag of $999 for the base variant, $1,149 for 256GB version and $1,349 for the highest 512GB model.
Both the iPhone XS and the iPhone X have a 12MP dual-lens rear camera, comprising a telephoto f/2.4 lens and a wide-angle f/1.8 lens.
And despite having a slightly bigger screen than last year's iPhone 8 Plus, it's packed into a much smaller overall package. It'll cost roughly $750 and come out on October 26.
After Apple stopped building iPhones with a headphone jack, the company chose to include a free dongle headphone adapter with new iPhone purchases.
So, when can you get your shakingly impatient hands on Apple's latest trio of phones?
The company's ambitions go much further than that though, as Apple executives have said they plan to hit a target of $50 billion in services revenue by 2021 which could match or surpass iPad and Mac sales combined today.
These features will be available to USA customers later this year, but Apple did not say when it would make it to the rest of the world. Moreover, it was a nuisance for users who do not have iOS devices.
Rival Samsung Electronics Co Ltd has a few models that cost almost as much as Apple models, but the bulk of its lineup, like that of other phone makers, consists of cheaper models.
As for the other announcements, nobody can be sure, but it's expected that iOS 12 will finally receive a launch date. Expectations for Apple's lineup have been fueled by reports from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who is based in Taiwan, where numerous contracts manufacture that also make Apple products are based.
