She announced her pregnancy in June, breaking the news in her Waitrose magazine column.
Fast forward 18 months or so and Pippa is heavily pregnant with her first child, showing of her growing baby bump at Princess Eugenie's wedding on October 12.
Pippa Middleton has welcomed her first child with husband James Matthews, according to People.
She said: "James and Pippa have had a baby boy".
The baby was born in the Lindo Wing at St Mary's Hospital in London at 1:58 p.m. Monday, weighing 8 pounds and 9 ounces, the news outlet reports.
Yesterday, Pippa was spotted entering the Lindo Wing private maternity unit, with husband James following behind.
Pippa was dubbed "her royal hotness" after wearing a slinky, white dress to older sister Catherine's royal wedding in 2011 where she was a bridesmaid.
Kensington Palace said in a short statement: "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are thrilled for Pippa and James".
"She's also given Pippa some of Prince George and Princess Charlotte's hand-me-downs but is obviously keeping some for Prince Louis".
Unlike the Duchess of Cambridge who suffered from morning sickness, Pippa has spoken about her smooth pregnancy and has reportedly meditated during the last few weeks.
Pippa, who became a household name after serving as Kate's bridesmaid during the Royal Wedding in 2011, married hedge fund manager James a year ago.
"From personal experience, I'd confidently say I find it has been the most enjoyable and rewarding form of exercise since I found out I was expecting", she wrote.
