The announcement comes from the Stardew Valley website and reveals that the mobile port of the game is in the save hands of the London-based development studio, The Secret Police.

It's the full game, not a cut down version, and plays nearly identically to all other versions.

Those of you with the infinite patience for RPGs and sim games (that we fans of button-mashers don't possess) will likely rejoice to learn that Stardew Valley is coming to a mobile device near you.

Are you planning to revisit Pelican Town?

Stardew Valley has been consuming PC players with its mixture of farm-raising gameplay and retro elements.

Pre-orders for Stardew Valley mobile will go live today on the App Store, and it will run you £7.99/$7.99/€8.99.

Stardew Valley will be playable on both iPhone and iPad and require iOS 10.0. PC players will be able to transfer over their save data using iTunes, so there won't be a need to start a brand-new farm on your phone. Barone said he hopes to have more news about an exact launch date soon.

The game will land on iOS on October 24, according to a blog post by developer Eric Barone (h/t: Polygon). The PC and console versions retail for $14.99, though they have multiplayer while the mobile version will not.

Android owners will have to wait a little while longer, with that versions launch details to follow in the near future. Keep in mind that since mods are not supported, any save data transferred containing mods may cause compatibility issues. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
