New details released by Buckingham Palace reveal some important additions to Eugenie and Jack's nuptials, including a description of the wedding cake that has royal fans salivating.

The pair are set to walk down the aisle at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle, just like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did on May 19.

And that's not because there's some sort of ongoing feud between them or behind closed doors.

Meanwhile royal fans are eager to ascertain what Princess Eugenie is wearing for her big day. Instead, the Duchess of Cornwall simply has a royal engagement that she is attending on the same day and at the same time, too. "I expect she doesn't want to disappoint the children".

The update confirmed that Mr Brooksbank's brother, Thomas, will be his best man, while the bride-to-be will have her sister, Princess Beatrice, as the maid of honour.

Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "When this date was proposed, she said that regrettably, she couldn't come. Camilla didn't want to let anyone down".

Five-year-old Maud Windsor, the granddaughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, has also been asked to be a bridesmaid. "Given she'd already committed to attending a school event it's duty first", Victoria, whose father previously worked as The Queen's press secretary, explained.

With a full day of events, there is plenty to anticipate as yet another member of the royal family gets ready to kick off a lifetime of love.
