Their hardware is high end and their software is innovative and getting better with every iteration.

The Huawei Mate will feature a 6.43-inch display with 1080 x 2244 pixels resolution that is slightly bigger than the Mate 20 Pro display size - 6.3-inch curved panel. This is the second time we've seen this shade so it's likely coming. Alongside the Mate 20 smartphones, the company is also rumored to introduce Huawei Watch GT and Huawei Freebuds 2 Pro on the same stage. In the middle of the display is a fingerprint - possibly showing the location of the in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Huawei device with the model number LYA-L29 surfaced on AnTuTu with a HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor, 6 GB of memory, and 128 GB internal storage. The Huawei Mate 20 is expected to cost somewhere around 750 euros, while the pro version of the smartphone should sell for 100 more euros at least.

Huawei teases "in the heat of battle, stay cool with #HUAWEIMate20X". It would not be much of a stretch to think that Huawei would release a gaming phone considering their Chinese competitor Xiaomi have released one as well as Asus and Razor. Huawei shows the Mate 20X playing a game for the entirety of the teaser, though it's impossible to make out any concrete details.

This is a surprise entry that will sit alongside two other high-end smartphones, the upcoming Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, both expected to launch during a press event next week. Huawei have somehow kept the existence of this phone a secret, but it's a secret no more.

We are about a week away from the launch of Huawei's latest Mate 20 series, and there is no stopping the various leaks. Hopefully, we could bring you the news as they happen on the ground in London.
