The most shameless press release of the week award goes to Deliveroo for trying to share the limelight with Apple by offering to bike food to fanbois queuing for the latest iPhones released tomorrow. But that's for a phone priced at $699, well below either the iPhone XS Max or the $999 iPhone XS.

As reported by MacRumors, these three new iPhones recently made a pass through China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for approval ahead of launch. MacRumors tracked down the listings for each individual iPhone, potentially laying the question of battery sizes to rest.

Following last year's release which saw the iPhone X sell-out across the United Kingdom in just 10 minutes, Deliveroo is ensuring the many won't be going hungry.

Just a few days ago, Apple announced the latest generation of iPhones: The iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR. It's preposterous then that despite shelling out $1449 for the 512GB iPhone XS Max, you still do not get a fast charger in the box. The OnePlus 6 for example has a Full HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels, that's about 401 pixels per inch. This is far better than the company's estimate of up to 20/12/14 hours for the iPhone XS, and better even than up to 25/13/15 hours for the iPhone XS Max.

In 2012, with the arrival of the iPhone 5, Apple bumped the screen size up to 4 inches.

We now know how much the new iPhone additions will cost, and we're not surprised in the slightest. Apple still claims the new phone to offer a better battery performance thanks to the A12 Bionic chipset.

Apple also insists that the iPhone XS shoots the highest-quality video of any smartphone. Now, the iPhone XS will get you 59.92Mbps.

Will you be queueing up for the new iPhone?

In a move that might help offset the pricing somewhat, iStore said it will offer a two-year extended warranty, which includes one Apple-certified screen fix, for free.

The XS and XS Max come with headphones, but unlike a year ago, you won't find an adapter included in the box. It's Apple's way of saying it's finally time to get over the fact there's no longer a headphone jack.

"We were here for iPhone 8 and iPhone X so even though we forgot to bring sleeping bags, it is well worth the wait", he said.
