What Sean Payton Dennis Allen are saying about Browns before Week 2

After having a game-winning try blocked in last week's 21-21 tie with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Gonzalez missed four kicks for the Browns (0-1-1), including the go-ahead and tying attempts inside the final two minutes of play in a 21-18 loss to the Saints (1-1).
"It's on me 100 percent", Gonzalez said after the game. "We didn't want to miss anything". The Cleveland Browns visited the New Orleans Saints in week two, and these are our instant reactions.
The Saints managed to only have 150 yards of offense through 3 quarters, committed 2 turnovers, and missed a field goal for good measure, and still won anyway. The Saints weren't at peak efficiency and few, if any, inside the locker room were happy with the means to the end. Williams returned it 22 yards to the Cleveland 18.
And tragedy continued for Browns kicker Zane Gonzalez once he was in position to tie the game up and send it to overtime.
Kamara had 99 yards from scrimmage, including 53 receiving on six catches to go with his successful run on a 2-point conversion. Kicker Zane Gonzalez shanked his third straight kick, and second PAT, wide left.
While Brees was missing potential touchdowns in the first half, Saints receivers were losing 2 fumbles, but the Browns couldn't cash in on the generosity, and only led 6-3.
Amazingly, Taylor had the Browns in field-goal range after quick completions of 26 and 16 yards. Gonzalez missed the extra-point kick wide left. Tackle Larry Ogunjobi sacked Brees twice, blitzing cornerback T.J. Carrie got to Brees on another third down, and Ogunjobi would have had another in the fourth quarter if not for Derrick Kindred's illegal contact penalty.
DEFENSE: Nice turnaround game for the defense, after allowing 41 points and more than 500 yards in the season opener.
With eight seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, Jackson elected to try a 52-yard field goal, but Gonzalez pushed the ball too far to the right, which gave the win to the Saints.
So the Saints are 1-1 in the most exhaustingly hard way imaginable. Then Brees threw an incomplete pass short of the end zone, and the Saints settled for Lutz's field goal.
