The Apple Watch is inching toward becoming a medical device

The Apple Watch Series 1 was something of a budget option - until it was discontinued this week, the Series 1 sold for $US249.
Here's the theory: If Apple followed its protocol and offered the $999 iPhone XS as well as a phone that is nearly exactly the same but $100 cheaper, it would most likely confuse customers and cannibalize sales. Apple doesn't release sales figures, but estimates from two analysts suggest the company shipped roughly 18 million of the gadgets in 2017.
Apple announced that it would no longer include a dongle, free of charge, with the purchase of a newiPhone. The base level iPhone is now the iPhone 7 with a 4.7-inch display, A10 Fusion chip, water proofing and stereo speaker setup.
That being said, on its own he notes it "could be mistaken for the iPhone X of last year". The new range now comes with a fullscreen display and FaceID as standard - this was introduced by the trendsetting iPhone X previous year. Further, the rear wide-angle lens, True Tone flash, and True Depth camera on the iPhone XR are identical to those found on the iPhone XS, so the only difference from a photography point of view appears to be the lack of the second telephoto lens.
Apple has already revealed what kind of price increase we're in for once the calendar hops over to 2019.
Still, this year's iPhone XS renders the iPhone X redundant - it has a almost identical design, with improved specs, at the same starting price point of $US999. The iPhone SE was a high selling model in developing markets due its cheaper price.
Those reasons? The fact that Apple has likely put less RAM in to the iPhone XR compared to the iPhone XS and XS Max, and the screen resolution is likely going to be less, too. Whether you're the type of person who buys the new iPhone every year or your current phone is getting creaky with age and it's time to upgrade, you're probably wondering when these new devices will come out.
