The star has been through a rough month after being obliterated by a 24-year-old with a pick axe in late July. However, thanks to the work of a conservative street artist and a team of merry star placers, faux versions of the star are now occupying empty spaces on the famed walk.
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, a possible Democratic opponent to Trump in 2020, said focusing on Trump's Walk of Fame star was a waste of time, according to TMZ.
The initiative by the city council of West Hollywood comes less than two weeks after the star was vandalized by a man with a pickax.
It's quite hilarious to see a group of pro-Trump street artists become so enraged over the destruction of a star the president got for producing his Miss Universe shows. "We thought Trump Derangement Syndrome was a joke, but I'm pretty sure it's real", the artist continued. The resolution urged the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and Los Angeles to remove the star because of what it says is Trump's "disturbing treatment of women and other actions".
Trump's star was recently vandalised by a man with a pickaxe at the dead of the night.
