Sarri's 'Spanish' Chelsea get off to flawless start

"But I have seen a player who is very happy to stay here, so I think it will be no problem, the new contract".

Huddersfield showed their spirit by continuing to attack and striker Steve Mounie headed against the post after Mathias Jorgensen had flicked on a corner.

Huddersfield goalkeeper Ben Hamer can do nothing to keep out Jorginho's penalty for Chelsea.

Chelsea went ahead in the first half through a World Cup victor in N'Golo Kante, as he got on the end of a Willian cross and despite not quite connecting with the ball as he would have liked, he found the corner of the net.

FW Pedro, 8 - Linked up well with Azpilicueta in forward passages of play and was the main beneficiary when Hazard came on as he latched onto a pass from the Belgian worldwide to smartly score the final goal.

As we know, Kante is not known for scoring goals but he's kept up his record of scoring at least one goal in a Premier League season by getting off to a flyer this afternoon.

When asked how long it could take for his players to be at their best, Sarri surprised many with his response.

Another positive was the performance of Alvaro Morata, much maligned for his form in the second half of last season, and heavily linked with a move away from Chelsea this summer.

Chelsea's Premier League era under Maurizio Sarri is off to a superb start.

The Blues' new star in the midfield is Jorginho, who came over to Chelsea with Sarri from Napoli.

"We are not a physical team and I think the best of the game is the capacity to suffer for 15 minutes". However, this was forgiven just before half-time when he made a buccaneering break into the Huddersfield box and drew a foul to secure the penalty which Jorginho converted.

Unfortunately for Huddersfield and Kongolo, Chelsea managed to score twice before half-time which stretched the defence.

But the 17-year-old was left out of the matchday squad altogether, with Pedro and Willian starting out wide and Hazard and Victor Moses the options from the bench.

Last season's Europa League winners are now expected to reward Oblak with a new contract which would see his buyout clause raised to an eye-watering €250m.
