Mauricio Pochettino has told Danny Rose, Toby Alderweireld and Mousa Dembele to forget about their futures and concentrate on Tottenham.

Having already sold Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus during this transfer window, club president Florentino Perez needs to add a "Galactico" to his Real Madrid squad in order to appease restless fans and he has apparently identified Eriksen as the man he wants at the Bernabeu.

Spurs were the only Premier League club not to sign a single player, but they can still sell to clubs in Europe until the deadline on 31 August.

"I am with full energy, I am fitter than last season because I was thinking if a player involved in the World Cup arrives not fit then I have a possibility to play", the former Argentina global defender said at the club's training ground.

"We have a very good squad, with very good players and it is very hard to add players to that", Pochettino added.

'I am happy to keep all the squad together, there were many rumours during the summer about players out, ' he said.

"Of course it's hard to understand for people in football that Tottenham didn't sign or sell players, but sometimes in football you need to behave differently", he said in his press conference earlier today, as per The Mirror. He played a key part in Bruce's side as they finished fourth, before losing to Fulham in the play-off final.

They need to try to be focused and ready to compete and give their best when I decide to put them on the pitch, and then be professional on the training ground. "I need their commitment, 25 players will full commitment but not only [for] one week, two weeks, one month". "Drama is many things in life but football is joy".
