Fahrenheit 11/9 is named after the date that Trump was officially announced as the victor of the presidential election.

In an interview with HuffPost, Michael Moore said that Trump "has no intention of leaving the White House" and that the Republican party will be "backing him up" all the way. HuffPost also premiered a trailer for Fahrenheit 11/9, which drops on September 21.

The new trailer includes a Michigan-centric trip to Gov. Rick Snyder's home, where Moore pulls out a fire hose and sprays "Flint Water" out of a tanker truck and over the fence onto the property. "That all ends with this movie".

Documentarian Michael Moore is back with a new film called Fahrenheit 11/9 and it doesn't look like it's going to be pulling any punches.

The "Fahrenheit 11/9" footage also shows Moore speaking to David Hogg, the activist student who survived the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting on February 14, 2018, and progressive Democratic Congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who won a stunning victory in the primary earlier this summer. "Our media has no idea what it is up against", he continued.

Moore, an Academy Award-winning director, is helming the film. This puts us all in grave danger.

The title itself references one of Moore's most famous documentaries, Fahrenheit 9/11, which focused on the country after the election of George W. Bush and the events that unfolded after the September 11 attacks in 2001. His documentary Bowling for Columbine, about the horrific shooting at Columbine High School in 1999, is a hot take on gun culture and ease of obtaining weapons in our country, and it earned him the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature in 2003.

"Hope is passive. Hope gives you permission to let someone else do the work".
