In the camera department, it has a 12MP + 8MP dual camera setup with OIS on the rear and a 8MP front camera. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, IR Blaster, and USB Type-C port. Doing away with the screen notch, the phone has an 8MP selfie camera module that pops out on top. The very popular budget Xiaomi smartphone has been amongst the top selling smartphones across price brackets, both globally and in India, since its launch in China in October a year ago. In India, the company is launching only the Mi A2.
The Xiaomi Mi A2 runs stock Android which entitles it to receive Android Pie when it starts rolling out for devices other than Google Pixel. That's because it runs Android Oreo based Android One platform.
The Xiaomi Mi A2 comes with a 3,010mAh battery, which seems rather small, but we expect it to perform as good as the Mi A1, if not better.
