Red Dead Redemption 2 is nearly certainly the most anticipated gaming release of 2018.

The game was originally announced in November 2016 with a slated release date of Fall 2017, but after two delays - the game is aiming for a very close release of October 26, 2018. Red Dead Redemption 2, out this fall, will serve as a prequel to the previous game.

As well as just gawking at the graphics the trailer has plenty of new info and focuses on the giant open world environment and how you can interact with other people. The game has been in development for years, and knowing Rockstar's signature style, it's practically guaranteed to be a smash hit, which is why players have been frothing at the mouth (metaphorically but possibly also literally) to see more of the game.

As usual with Rockstar games, player choice will play a massive part in determining the outcome of your story, which is set to take place in 1899.

So far, we know that that Arthur Morgan is Red Dead 2's protagonist.

The video will be available on YouTube and Rockstar Games' official website.

When can I watch the Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay trailer? Those who will not surrender or succumb are killed.

After a robbery goes wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee.

The trailer, which features an abundance of gameplay accompanied by a female narrator, discusses how Rockstar Games is looking to create a "deeper" open world that's "more detailed and open" than ever. Ready for some Wild West rowdiness now that you've seen more of RDR2?
