The £13.5m they receive from Liverpool for Shaqiri could see them up their bid closer to Newcastle's valuation.

Aston Villa are just one of the teams who are interested in signing Liverpool's exciting young forward, Harry Wilson.

The Reds have confirmed the signing of Xherdan Shaqiri from relegated Stoke City in a deal reportedly worth £13million deal.

"Harry has a lot of interest in him from different clubs, so no risk now", Klopp told Liverpool's official website.

"He has speed and ability, has the right amount of arrogance on the football pitch, real bravery to want the ball and influence things".

"When I moved up to Melwood 18 months or so ago, straight away he made me feel welcome".

"From our perspective, he is someone who makes a big difference to the squad and team, because he can fit in so many positions in our system", the Liverpool manager added.

Wilson is Wales' youngest ever player having made his debut in October 2013 at the age of 16 years and 207 days - beating Gareth Bale's previous record, making him Liverpool's youngest ever global footballer.

No way the fans of Liverpool can forget the howlers made by their German goalkeeper Loris Karius in the final of the Champions League earlier this year.

"I know him well from his time in Switzerland and especially Germany - I have been a long-time admirer".

"Mistakes will happen. I don't like it, you don't like it, he doesn't like it, but they do happen". I'm really happy that now I'm finally here.
