The seven-episode series marks Baron Cohen's first television project in a decade after he launched his comedy career as subversive white English rapper Ali G., whose interviews included Donald Trump and Newt Gingrich.

Roy Moore issued a vague threat to sue Showtime, the channel on which the new Sacha Baron Cohen series will be televised Sunday.

Sacha Baron Cohen is still trolling Sarah Palin who revealed earlier this week she was one of several high-profile Republicans to be duped into meeting with the comedian for his new TV series. In her post, she didn't say exactly what he did, but a source familiar with the interview told People that "the last straw" was a question about "a government-funded sex-change operation for Chelsea Clinton".

He wrote: "Vice-President Palin, I am Dr Billy Wayne Ruddick, founder/CEO/accountant of and it was I that interviewed you. I sat through a long "interview" full of Hollywoodism's disrespect and sarcasm - but finally had enough and literally, physically removed my mic and walked out". "I was in the service - not military, but United Parcel, and I only fought for my country once".

"For my interview, my daughter and I were asked to travel across the country where Cohen (I presume) had heavily disguised himself as a disabled USA veteran, fake wheelchair and all", Palin wrote about the experience on Tuesday.

"I don't need Sacha Cohen to tell me who America is, but I can tell him that America is a proud Nation which sprang from humble beginnings and a strong belief in God, virtue, and morality", he said in a statement.

The interview was reportedly filmed in November, but Palin is speaking out ahead of the show's debut on July 15. "(Coincidentaly, just like our Great President, I was sadly prevented from joining the regular army on account of bone spurs bein discovered in my testies)".

'You used to hunt the most risky animals in the country, like wolves and people on welfare.
