Hazard now has 2 more years left on his contract at Chelsea, but according to the report, the Belgian still hasn't put pen to paper on a £300,000-per-week contract extension, thus prompting people to believe that his move to Madrid might just happen this summer.

Eriksen enjoyed a decent campaign with Denmark at this summer's World Cup and will return to the Spurs camp for the new season looking to help them end their trophy drought under Pochettino.

The Chelsea and Belgium forward has said that he is happy at Chelsea however - but suggested it would be a "dream" to play for Real Madrid.

Eden Hazard has used the platform perfectly, turning in some seriously impressive displays for Belgium in Russian Federation.

In terms of skill, Hazard is easily one of the best players in the world at the moment and would represent a typical Galactico signing, should Madrid successfully lure him out of England and the Premier League.

Chelsea are desperate for Hazard to sign a new long-term deal and are on the verge of appointing a head coach more to the liking of the Belgian.

The Daily Mail say Real are preparing a £150m bid for the Chelsea star, who has two years remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge.

However, there is the lingering feeling that he is destined for the Bernabeu, particularly after his most recent comments about Real Madrid.

Real are said to be targeting Hazard following their sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.

"Zidane or no Zidane, the white jersey [of Real] is special but the blue jersey suits me well so it does not bother me if I stay". For now, it's the World Cup.
