Croatian fans at the 2018 FIFA World Cup unfolded a banner in downtown Moscow that conveyed a message of gratitude to Russian Federation, a TASS journalist reported from the event.

Mia Ĺ etula, a Croatian student at Bournemouth University, admitted she will be cheering for England's opponents tonight. It's a young team, the majority of the players will play in the next World Cup with more experience at club level.

Southgate can reflect on two years in which he has taken England from the embarrassment of Euro 2016 to their first World Cup semi-final in 28 years. "If we win I really want to be there, but I just can't afford the prices being quoted".

"We're one of only three teams ever to get to a World Cup semi-final".

The largest travelling support of the tournament so far, estimated before the game to be up to 10,000, were at Russia's biggest stage to witness the national side's failure to reach their first World Cup final in 52 years. Asked how many might be ticketless, he said: "It's hard to judge, we know from the ticket sales we can probably reasonably expect through official channels about half that number to get tickets. I don't why we always do this, but we always do it to ourselves", he said.

The winners of Wednesday's game will face France in the final at 1500 GMT on Sunday. "It's good to feel like you're in England", he said.

"Whether we win or lose, we're creating history", he said.

Vrsaljko, who plays for Atletico Madrid, had struggled to be ready for the match after playing in two previous extra-time matches, but he found the strength to lift his exhausted, battered team to a comeback win.

"I thought that we absolutely played them out the game in the first half".

Per CBS Sports, "England enters this semifinal match at +130 World Cup odds on the money line, meaning you'd need to bet $100 on an English victory to win $130".

Without hesitation and without even glancing back at the screen they race over to their protective gear and get it on within seconds of the bell ringing.
