George Clooney reportedly hurt in motorcycle crash in Italy

The actor was given a CAT scan which showed that none of his bones had been fractured, according to local media reports.

A local news agency and newspaper suggest Clooney has a suspected hip injury, but is not seriously injured.

Amal, 40, and George, along with their one-year-old twins, are now living in Sardinia for the summer, where he is filming his new TV series, Catch 22.

The 57-year-old was travelling to the set of his new TV show Catch 22 in Costa Corallina when a vehicle turned and struck him.

George Clooney "smashed in to a windscreen" when his scooter collided with a vehicle in Sardinia.

The 57-year-old actor was traveling along a road in Costa Corallina, in the province of Olbia-Tempio in Sardinia, when the incident occurred, reported TGCOM24. Police are studying the accident site and trying to ascertain how it happened.

Hugh Laurie also stars as Major de Coverley for the series which has a release date of 2019.

They met when she attended one of his parties at his Lake Como mansion, and Wednesday in Venice a year later.
