Gal Gadot, dressed as the comic character she plays in blockbuster movies, made a superheroic appearance at Inova Children's Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia, recently. "Love, #SuperFan." It appears that the visit was a surprise for both the staff and the kids, and was an altruistic move on Gadot's part.

Gadot is the mother of two young daughters, the youngest of which she was pregnant with while filming "Wonder Woman". "The kids loved it...and so did the staff", wrote Dr. Lucas Collazo on Twitter.

"Thank you @GalGadot for visiting us @InovaHealth Children's Hospital". A sequel to Wonder Woman, titled Wonder Woman 1984, is set to hit theaters next year and is now filming in Washington DC and Virginia.

Director Patty Jenkins released on Twitter a photo of Minerva uncomfortably looking around a natural history museum. Chris Pine will also be reprising his role as Steve Trevor in the '80s-set movie. All that's visible of Gadot is her face's reflection.

Gadot and Jenkins are also producing the upcoming sequel alongside Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, and Stephen Jones.

Wonder Woman 1984 will be the eighth film to feature in the DC Universe franchise, and the fourth time Gadot will playing the character on screen.
