Last month Juve fan said goodbye with the departure of their legendary captain Gigi Buffon after winning the 7th staright Serie A championship and now reports say Real Madrid are ready to accept a €100m offer from Juventus for Ronaldo according to Spanish TV show "Jugones".

Sources told ESPN Deportes' Paola Nunez that the "Jugones" story means that Real Madrid are at least considering the possibility of negotiations with Juventus.

In May, the superstar threw his future into doubt by talking about Real Madrid in the past tense after beating Liverpool in the Champions League final, voicing frustration over long-stalled talks with club president Florentino Perez about a new improved contract. "In the next few days I will speak".

The reported club-record offer from Juventus is expected to make Ronaldo the highest-paid player in their history, despite Madrid willing to match whatever Juve pay in wages.

For me they would be wrong to get Cristiano with a €30 million salary.

Ronaldo was knocked out of the World Cup on Saturday night as Portugal suffered a 2-1 defeat to Uruguay, courtesy of an Edinson Cavani brace.

Spanish TV show El Chiringuito de Jugones reported that Real Madrid is set to accept a $116 million offer for the five-time Ballon d'Or victor.

Madrid are prepared to cede to his desire to leave the club as reward for his service over nine hugely successful seasons, in which he has won the Champions League four times.
