That's how long it took to sell that many phones - quicker than the "within three months" the OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 5 each took. People who purchase OnePlus 6 via offline or online channels will be eligible fo a lucky draw and two lucky customers stand a chance to win a OnePlus 6 unit everyday. Starting at $529, the OnePlus 6 is far more affordable than flagships from mainstays like Apple and Samsung that command hundreds of dollars more but how does that translate as it relates to sales?

It's time for celebration for OnePlus as the company has sold 1 million units of the recently launched OnePlus 6 within 22 days of launch. During the season the company is offering Rs 2,000 cashback on Citibank Credit and Debit cards and no cost EMI's with popular banks for three months. This is valid on "Out of Warranty" cases.

According to the report, OnePlus customer will receive an extra off of Rs 1,500 on the exchange of an older OnePlus smartphone. Even though it is a remarkable feat, it is pale when compared to what Samsung and Apple manage to achieve. The device comes with 256GB internal storage and 8GB RAM. It also includes a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 20-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 16-megapixel sensor is available on the front that supports a Face Unlock feature. OnePlus 6 is Amazon exclusive in the country, and the price starts at Rs 34,999. This is contrary to the price of the competing flagships that are available in the price segment of over $700 (approximately Rs. 48,000). CNET and The Verge rated it 8.5 and 8 out of 10 points, respectively, pointing out the lack of full waterproofing and the fact that it is not compatible with CDMA carriers like Verizon and Sprint in the US.

OnePlus highlighted its unique product strategy for growth in different markets including India and Europe. Before the OnePlus 6, the OnePlus 5T was the company's best-selling smartphone, but the newcomer shattered all the records and made new ones of its own. Moreover, OnePlus has over 5 million active OnePlus community members, with the OnePlus community forums averaging 10 million views per month.
