The Green Falcons are taking part for the 5th time in the FIFA World Cup.

The Egyptian national team have continued their preparations in their training camp in Grozny, Russia ahead of their opening game against Uruguay on June 15 in the 2018 World Cup's Group A.

Global music icon Robbie Williams will entertain the stadium crowd and the millions watching around the world, with celebrated Russian soprano Aida Garifullina joining him during the musical extravaganza.

The underlying theme of celebrating not only football but also the host country will be represented by a performance from Garifullina.

Brazil's two-time World Cup victor Ronaldo will also feature in a ceremony billed as consisting of a new format. "And, on 15 July, we will find out for whom this precious dream will come true, back on the same stage, after a month-long festival of football in Russian Federation".
