Alisson shone last season between the sticks for Roma and has been eyed by Liverpool, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in the current transfer window.

Speaking after Brazil 3-0 victory over Austria on Sunday evening, Alisson wants to make a decision before the weekend otherwise it will have to wait until after the World Cup.

He said: "I think everything will be resolved before the start of the World Cup, that's what I want".

1994 World Cup victor, now Alisson's global goalkeeping coach, Claudio Taffarel told Tele Radio Stereo: "Alisson is very happy at Roma and the rumours of a transfer are just rumours".

"If it's not before the first game, it will be after the World Cup, that's my thinking 100 percent", Alisson continued.

Liverpool have received a boost in their pursuit of AS Roma's Alisson Becker, with the Italian side apparently prepared to sell the Brazilian at the right price.

'There are many possibilities on which we are working, but always together with Roma and with respect to my club.

Liverpool continue to be heavily linked with a summer swoop for Alisson, but the Brazil global is "very happy at Roma", according to his worldwide predecessor Claudio Taffarel.

"I do not know what will happen, but he told me he would be happy to stay at Roma", he added.

'To be honest, I left everything in the hands of my agents. The voices about him moving are only rumours.

"Alisson can be amongst the best in the world, alongside Courtois, De Gea and [Manuel] Neuer".
