Just Cause 4's existence still seems rather baffling, as despite having a longer trailer than at Microsoft's media briefing there was no mention of any multiplayer features or other unique selling points that might justify another sequel to a series that has never seemed to be particularly popular.
Dragon Quest XI will be releasing on PS4 and Steam in the west on September 4. We also hope to hear more about Dragon Quest Builders 2, perhaps even a release date. The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, a new game in the Life is odd universe, and the Xbox version of Nier: Automata were also announced yesterday, stripping today's presentations of any real excitement.
Really, the only two titles we had no clue about going into the showcase were The Quiet Man and Babylon's Fall.
Another new title announced during the stream was A Quiet Man. Babylon's Fall, meanwhile, was only of interest because of PlatinumGames' name being attached to it. After seeing so much from the publisher yesterday many weren't sure and while there was some repeated content for Square Enix also managed to announce two upcoming titles and show off a bit more of games that fans are looking forward to. However, when it was all said and done, Square Enix had very little to offer. That was the best.
