Per Sky Sports' Zinny Boswell, Portugal team-mate Manuel Fernandes said: "I have nothing negative to say about Cristiano, he looks focused and doesn't look at all anxious about his future".

Ronaldo said: 'In the coming days there will be answer about my future. The 33-year-old is certainly not considering a move to Major League Soccer (MLS), China, Japan or the Middle East at this point of his career.

Real never officially went ahead in completing their superstar's new deal after his performances in the first half of 2017/18 campaign dropped, and the player is understood to be upset with broken promises made by club president Florentino Perez.

Five-time Ballon d'Or victor Ronaldo fuelled talk of an exit from Real following their third consecutive Champions League triumph in Kiev against Liverpool.

The report says Ronaldo is "determined' to part ways with Madrid this summer, but only to ply his trade in a handful of specific competitions".

Ronaldo may not have a good record in El Clasico against Messi (10 wins vs 16 wins), but he's the joint-record holder for most goals by a Real Madrid player in El Clasico.

Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal arrived Saturday in Russian Federation to begin final preparations for a World Cup campaign that pits them against arch-rivals Spain.

In the aftermath of Real's third successive European title in Kiev, Ronaldo said: "It was very nice to be at Real Madrid".

Despite not scoring a goal, the Real star's return to the side following a brief break after the Champions League final, inspired them to end a two-match winless streak.
