The savings include an extra 10% off hundreds of sale items throughout the store along with exclusive offers on a range of products.

Amazon Prime members in Arizona, Georgia, Hawaii, Oregon, North Carolina, Washington, Mississippi, Alabama, Arizona, and SC, as well as parts of Southern California, will be able to take advantage of steep discounts at Whole Foods, starting on June 13.

Starting this Wednesday, June 13, Whole Foods stores in 10 additional states - including Amazon's home state of Washington - will offer new 10 percent discounts on sale items and other special deals to Amazon Prime members. Now, Prime members can get discounts at about half of the Whole Foods Market locations across the U.S.

"We're excited that Prime savings will be available at almost half of our Whole Foods Market stores this week, giving more Prime members access to great deals just in time for summer", said A.C. Gallo, President and Chief Operating Officer at Whole Foods Market.

Since buying Whole Foods last summer for $13.7 billion, Amazon has been expanding perks at the grocery chain, including lowering prices on a number of grocery staples, including cereal, vegetables, beef and fruit. Eligible Prime members also receive 5% Back on Whole Foods Market purchases when using the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Card.

Two-hour delivery is free and one-hour delivery is $7.99 on orders $35 or more. Delivery from Whole Foods is available in 10 cities and is slated to expand to more cities this year.
