Anthem is now targeting a February 22, 2019 release. The reveal didn't include hard proof of BioWare's promises about story content in the game, however, particularly BioWare's onstage assurance that Anthem can wholly work as a single-player experience. BioWare did say that it has built the game so that it can build new stories into this game whenever and however it wants in the future, and that's likely the key takeaway when it comes to Anthem: EA and BioWare want it to last for years. Thus, Anthem is in the precarious position of making promises about an engaging combination of combat, plot, and endgame progression-a juggle that the Destiny series has fumbled time and time again.

More information on Anthem and Battlefield V. Additionally, players will be able to customize the various suits with cosmetic appearances and gear.

Expect reveals of Federation Internationale de Football Association 19, Madden 19, and a new Star Wars title. Oh, but it WILL feature a battle royale mode, creatively titled Royale.

Origin Access Premier was unveiled, a more expensive, fancy version of Origin Access that'll give PC players access to all of EA's games as soon as they're released. Few details were revealed about the new mode of play, but more will be revealed at a later date.

Battlefield V Royale will debut sometime after launch and will feature the classic tactical signatures of the franchise.

Developer BioWare went in depth on its upcoming multiplayer role-playing adventure Anthem today as part of its EA Play media presentation today. With the news that th online game can in fact be entirely enjoyed solo, more people than ever before are interested in seeing what they've got in store. Instead, it simply confirmed that the game would let players fight as a Jedi in events between episodes III and IV of the film series.
